When the match begins, the Nine-Tails will spawn on the classic Erangel map.
During the initial phase of the match, the beast exists in two primary behaviors:
Resting State: The beast remains stationary. You can approach it to gather ambient supplies, but excessive noise or attacks will alert it.
Patrolling State: The beast moves across the map, actively looking for a fight.
As the match progresses, a special in-game broadcast will announce that the Nine-Tails is launching a direct invasion toward the Hidden Leaf Village.
Pro Tip: Do not wait for the final showdown. Gather your squad and intercept the Nine-Tails at Gatka or Pochinki. Any damage you inflict here permanently reduces its health bar for the final phase, making the end-game encounter significantly easier. Once its total health drops to roughly 80%, it will temporarily retreat into hiding.
Phase 2: The Battle for the Hidden Leaf Village
Once the Nine-Tails emerges from hiding, it enters a highly aggressive, berserk state and moves directly into a designated 800m × 800m raid zone right outside the Hidden Leaf Village.
This zone operates under unique tactical rules that you must exploit:
Global Truce: Within the boundaries of the raid area, PvP (Player vs. Player) damage is completely disabled. All players inside the zone must work together cooperatively to eliminate the beast before the strict time limit expires.
Infinite Redeployment: If you are eliminated by the boss's devastating area-of-effect attacks while inside the raid zone, you will instantly receive one additional free recall to hot-drop straight back into the action.
Combat Strategy: Exploiting Weak Points
Taking down a beast with massive health requires coordinated fire and smart resource management.
As the Nine-Tails moves and attacks, it will continuously drop glowing light orbs across the battlefield. Run directly through these orbs to receive a temporary combat buff that prevents weapon reloading from consuming your actual backpack ammunition.
Keep a close eye on the physical model of the beast. A bright, glowing target ring will periodically appear on specific body parts. Direct all squad fire exclusively at this ring to inflict massive critical damage.
