Aftermath and Threats
Just three days later, on January 27, the student allegedly returned to the school campus along with his father and a group of around 15–20 people. Police said this group threatened the teacher, who lives alone in the town. The accused claimed he and the group had returned only to apologise, but the situation alarmed school authorities and the teacher.
Police Action
Following a formal written complaint by the teacher, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered on February 3, 2026 at the local police station. Gujarat Police later arrested Mohammad Khan Ansari and produced him before a court. He was subsequently granted bail. Authorities also conducted a crime scene reconstruction in the presence of the teacher to better understand the sequence of events.

The viral CCTV footage and news of the assault sparked public debate on student discipline and safety of teachers in educational institutions, especially when addressing everyday issues like punctuality. Many have voiced concern over rising indiscipline and questioned whether adequate measures are in place to protect educators and maintain discipline in schools.
