Engineering Aspirants: Out of the total registrations, 2,09,868 candidates are appearing specifically for the engineering stream.

Three-Day Window: The engineering exams are scheduled from May 9 to May 11, 2026, with the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams to follow.
New for 2026: Immediate Score Transparency
In a move lauded by students and parents alike, JNTUH has introduced a new feature in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) interface.
Provisional Result: As soon as a candidate submits their final answer and exits the exam console, their raw score is displayed on the screen.
Reducing Anxiety: This immediate feedback is designed to provide instant clarity to students before the official normalization process and rank declaration in June.
Strict Compliance: The 'One-Minute Rule'
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy regarding latecomers.
Timed Entry: Candidates must arrive at their respective centers at least 90 minutes before their shift starts.
The Deadline: Following the "one-minute rule," entry is strictly prohibited once the exam session begins at 9:00 AM or 3:00 PM.
Identification: Entry is only granted upon verification of a printed Hall Ticket and an original photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Voter ID).
Prohibited Items & Dress Code
To maintain the integrity of the online examination, the following items and behaviors are strictly monitored:
Electronics: All electronic gadgets, including smartwatches, mobile phones, and calculators, are banned from the exam hall.
Recommended Attire: Candidates are advised to wear light, pocketless clothing and open footwear (sandals/chappals) to facilitate quick security frisking.
Following the final session on May 11, the preliminary keys will be released for objections, with the final results expected to be announced in the first week of June 2026.
